According to reports, a minor reportedly escaped from a Jodi Hildebrandt home’s window and walked to a neighbor’s home to inquire about food and drink.

The neighbor saw duct tape wrapped around the child’s wrists and ankles. The child appeared severely undernourished and in poor health hence invited the police.

After the first child was taken to the hospital by the police, another child was discovered in Hildebrandt’s home and was found to be malnourished, with open wounds as well.

After a thorough search and questioning, four more minor children were taken into the care of the Department of Child and Family Services, according to the press release.
