Terrell Suggs is an American Football player. He is an NFL veteran who plays the outside linebacker position. Suggs, who has spent his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens, is widely regarded as one of the best ever defensive players to grace the game and he has the trophies and awards to back up that assertion.

Terrell Raymonn Suggs, popularly known as T-Sizzle, was born on the 11^th of October 1982. He is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. His mother’s name is Laverne Diane while his father’s name is Donald Lee Suggs. Suggs has two brothers, Hermann and Donald as well as two sisters, Jonquie and Monquielh. Terrell Suggs spent his formative years in Arizona where he had his high school education. In high school, Suggs was a multi-sport athlete playing football, basketball and also ran track. Suggs laid the marker for his impressive career early on in high school where his superlative performances earned him several honors including All-American honors by USA Today in 2000.

Suggs had his college education at Arizona State University where he played for the school’s football team from 2000 to 2003. As at 2018, Suggs has made a total of 815 tackles (out of which 576 were solo), 34 forced fumbles and 12 fumble recoveries. He has also recorded 126.5 quarterback sacks, 7 interceptions, and 2 defensive touchdowns; justifying the assertion that he is one of the best defensive players to ever play the game. Terrell Suggs has been invited to the NFL’s annual all-star game known as the Pro Bowl on seven occasions and was named the best defensive player in the NFL in 2011. He was also a member of the Baltimore Ravens squad that won the Super Bowl in 2012. In 2014, Suggs became the first ever Baltimore player (the 31^st NFL player ever) to reach more than 100 sacks.

Terrell Suggs had a turbulent relationship with his longtime girlfriend Candace Williams. The couple had two children before they got married in December 2012. Before getting married, the relationship was marred by allegations of domestic violence by Candace. In 2009, She filed a request for a protective order alleging that Suggs had hit her and spilled bleach on her and their son who was only a year old at the time. The protective order was granted but was however lifted when she requested so following their reconciliation.

The same scenario repeated in November 2012. Candace obtained a temporary restraining order; accusing Suggs of punching her in the neck and dragging her behind his car with their two children inside the vehicle. As part of the order, Suggs was required to turn in several firearms he owned to the police. The couple once more reconciled and got married a month later in December 2012. Unsurprisingly, the marriage did not last and Candace filed for divorce in 2015 on grounds of adultery. His rookie contract with the Ravens was a five-year deal worth $10 million.
