Ronald Acuña Jr. children-Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder, Ronald José Acuña Blanco Jr. was born on December 18, 1997.

Acuña was born in La Guaira, Venezuela to Leonelis Blanco and Ronald Acuña Sr. He shares the same parents as his three other siblings; Luisangel, Bryan, and Kenny.

He competes in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves. Acuña made his MLB debut in 2018 and earned the National League Rookie of the Year Award after signing with the Braves as an international free agency in 2014.

In July 2014, Acuña signed a contract worth $100,000 as an unrestricted foreign free agent with the Atlanta Braves. In 2015, he made his major league debut with the Gulf Coast Braves before being moved up to the Danville Braves later that year.

He batted in 55 games for both clubs 4 home runs, 18 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases in 269 at-bats. In 2016, he cut. Due to an injury, he played for the Gulf Coast Braves and Rome Braves in just 42 games combined, hitting 312/.392/.429 with four home runs and 19 RBIs.
