Farrell would have received a three-match ban and wouldn’t have been part of the team’s remaining warm-up matches against Ireland and Fiji as well as their World Cup opener with Argentina on 9th September.
With this latest decision, the England captain, Farrell is cleared to continue preparing for the tournament and is eligible for selection by England’s head coach, Steve Borthwick.
