‘Marriage At First Sight’ fame Matthew Gwynne was arrested and charged with domestic vandalism after breaking into his girlfriend’s home.

Matthew Gwynne is a former professional basketball player and reality television star. He previously played for Campbell Fighting Camels and Plateros dee Fresnillo as a forward-center.

Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, he has played for reputed international basketball teams in Mexico such as Abejas de Leon and Jefes Fuerza Lagunera.

Gwynne came further attention after appearing on the infamous reality series Marriage at First Sight Season 9. The experts paired him opposite fellow contestant, Amber Bowles, on the show.

However, the former reality star came off as one of the worst husbands to ever appear in the MAFS history.

He was distant and cold throughout his marriage to his ex-wife on the show. Amber accused him of cheating and decided to get a divorce within a few weeks into the marriage, as per Screenrant.

He is once again in the news for a similar tumultuous relationship but with his ex-girlfriend this time around. What happened?

MAFS: Is Matthew Gwynne Arrested Over Domestic Vandalism?

According to monstersandcritics.com, Matthew Gwynne is arrested after his ex-girlfriend, Shelby Neubauer, accused him of domestic vandalism.

The police authorities detained him on Sunday, October 31, from a downtown bar. He is booked in a Nashville, Tennessee jail cell currently.

The 6-feet-10-inches former athlete reportedly kicked the door of his Shelby’s house following a verbal spat at a party on Saturday night that spiraled out of control.

His mugshot photos are not released online as of now.

Matthew Gwynne Ex-Girlfriend Shelby Neubauer & Charge Details

Matthew Gwynne was in an on-again-off-again relationship with ex-girlfriend Shelby Neubauer.

On October 30, the duo was attending a party together when an argument took place between them. The reason for their spat is unknown but things apparently got out of control and Gwynne threatened to go to Shelby’s house.

She did not make much of his threat and told him to go to his house. Later that night she received an email from her home security system.

When she arrived home, her door was broken and there were significant damages to the door frame as well. The CCTV footage of her home security doorbell showed Gwynne kicking in the door.

He did not steal anything from the house but Shelby was scared and immediately informed the police about the incident.

An arrest warrant for Gwynne was immediately issued.
