LaMarcus Aldridge parents-American professional basketball player, LaMarcus Nurae Aldridge was born on July 19th, 1985 in Dallas, Texas in the United States of America.

Aldridge attended Seagoville High School, where he was named to the second team of the Parade All-Americans and named the Class 4A Player of the Year by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC).

Aldridge was rated as a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, who also ranked him as the 16th best player in the country and the fourth-best center in 2004.

Attended the University of Texas at Austin, Aldridge. He submitted his name for the 2004 NBA draft, but he finally withdrew it.

Aldridge is a retired NBA basketball player from the United States. He spent two seasons playing collegiate basketball for the Texas Longhorns.

Second overall in the 2006 NBA Draft, Aldridge was chosen. He signed a contract with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015 after playing for Portland Trail Blazers for nine seasons.

He joined the Brooklyn Nets in March 2021 after the Spurs bought out his contract. Due to an abnormal heartbeat, he had to leave after two weeks. The next season, however, after gaining medical clearance, he rejoined the Nets.

Aldridge, who is well-known for his distinctive fadeaway jump jumper, has made five All-NBA teams and seven NBA All-Star appearances.

Aldridge inked a contract with the Brooklyn Nets on March 28, 2021. He made his NBA debut for the Nets on April 1 against the Charlotte Hornets, tallying 11 points, nine rebounds, and a season-high six assists.

Aldridge announced his retirement on April 15 due to health issues brought on by an abnormal heartbeat.

Aldridge re-signed with the Nets on September 3, 2021, after being given the all-clear by his doctor to resume playing basketball professionally.

Aldridge had a season-high 23 points on October 22 in a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Aldridge reached 20,000 points in his career on October 29 after scoring 21 points in a 105-98 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Aldridge has again declared his retirement on March 31, 2023.
