Denise Bozarth, after confessing the murder of Edward Bozarth was declared guilty and pronounced for fourteen years to be jailed. She was a suspect from the beginning but was out.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s office and state investigators took five years to gather all the evidence to arrest the criminal. Denise was arrested on March 21, 2012, in DeFuniak Springs.

During the investigation, her friends also informed the police that she had spoken about killing her husband earlier and even hiring her former boyfriend to do so.

She expected to receive $650K that Edward had inherited from his mother shortly before he was killed. However, Denise appealed to plea for the crime. She sought lawyers’ advice.
